We are delighted to announce that our 80 Willis St / Press Hall project received a Gold Award in the Retail Category at this year’s NZ Commercial Project Awards.
Judged by the Registered Master Builders Association, this prestigious event celebrates the country’s best commercial building projects.
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive a Gold Award at this year’s NZ Commercial Project Awards,” said Stephen Cummings, General Manager, McKee Fehl Constructors Ltd. “The 80 Willis St / Press Hall precinct was no ordinary redevelopment. The extensive and ambitious vision required tremendous levels of initiative and industry collaboration to revitalise a historic Wellington site into a bustling, multi-purpose urban hotspot.”

In redeveloping 80 Willis St, McKee Fehl successfully re-awakened and celebrated the aesthetic spirit of what once housed the Wellington Newspaper offices and printing presses.
This high-profile recognition follows the project’s Urban Design Award and Supreme Award wins at the 2018 Wellington Property Council People Awards.
