McKee Fehl is delighted to celebrate the opening of the Wellington City Council (WCC) Arapaki Manners Library and Service Centre at 12 Manners St today.
This project was fast-tracked and delivered following the unexpected closure of Wellington’s Central Library at 8.30pm on Tuesday 19 March.
In early November 2018, the McKee Fehl project team started upgrading the tenancy to create an open planned office for building owner, Sapphire Kiwi Investments, to accommodate potential new tenants.

Commenting on the project, Stephen Cummings, General Manager, McKee Fehl Constructors Ltd said: “We are delighted to be a part of such an important project. Providing Wellington with an interim library is crucial in meeting the diverse educational and literary needs of our city. The team has worked extremely hard to meet the short turnaround requirements. We’d like to extend a special thanks to Wellington City Council as well project partners and our suppliers and subcontractors for their immense contribution.”
