McKee Fehl will be undertaking the seismic strengthening of 80 The Terrace, for its sister company 80 TT Limited.
80 The Terrace, a 19-story building, designed by award winning architect Warren and Mahoney and built in 1986, will be strengthening using viscous dampers to achieve a minimum of 80% NBS seismic rating (against the latest C5 guidelines), along with a substantial base building architectural and services upgrade.
The strengthening and refurbishment will see this 80’s style building, upgraded to a modern, high specification office space within proximity to the Government precinct - only a short distance from Wellington’s retail Golden mile.
