At McKee Fehl, we are committed to delivering a safe environment for our employees, subcontractors, site visitors and the surrounding community.
Our established Health & Safety Company Policies are complemented by project-specific considerations to form a comprehensive risk management programme. All systems and processes are closely monitored by our Site Management teams and our Health and Safety Manager to ensure processes are followed with due care and consideration.
Health and Safety considerations are clearly documented in every Project Management Plan and shared with appropriate site staff and subcontractors. Team members are kept up to date on the latest health and safety developments through prestart meetings, site safety meetings, task analysis, and regular training. This ensures safe and healthy working practices are consistently practiced every day. All site workers receive a mandatory Health and Safety induction.
We are involved with industry groups working to keep abreast of and contribute to health and safety developments in the construction industry. McKee Fehl is a member of the Crane Association, the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management, and actively cooperates with other contractors in the Wellington region to standardise Health & Safety management practices.
